August rainy day offer

We’ve got rainy days covered with our new August rainy day free return offer!

To qualify, visitors need to be onsite and if it rains constantly for over one hour, we’ll give you a return ticket to come back and see us for free on another day.

Only pre-booked admission tickets purchased directly from the zoo’s website will be eligible for the rainy day return voucher, which will be valid until November 30, 2023.

But if it does rain during your visit, don’t forget to explore our indoor attractions, which include Lorikeet Lookout, Castle Creatures, the Reptile House and the farm barn, as well as the chimp indoor viewing area and giraffe house.

Throughout the holidays, there are also activities and crafts running inside the Discovery Centre between 12pm – 1pm, plus there are sheltered viewing areas for many of our animal exhibits across the 40-acre site, as well as the indoor Queen Mary Restaurant at the top of the zoo and the Safari Shop at the bottom.
